About Us

Hi! We’re Craig and Kirsten Bruun, the founders of jobs4couples.co.uk.

Since 2018, we’ve been helping couples find live-in employment. Originally from South Africa, we moved to the UK over 20 years ago and now live in Sevenoaks, Kent, with our dog, Rudy.

With two decades of experience working as live-in domestic staff, we’ve seen the industry evolve and experienced the highs and lows of this unique lifestyle. After Craig was dismissed from a long-term role at the age of 54—losing both his job and our home—we realised the need for a dedicated platform to support couples entering and navigating this line of work.

On our site, you’ll find a variety of job listings, resources for domestic couples, and personal insights from our journey. From our first role at Allington Castle to the challenges we’ve faced, we share our experiences to inspire and guide others.

Craig manages the site full-time, helping couples connect with their next opportunity, while Kirsten works locally in a private household in Sevenoaks.
